You know me. You know where I live. But do you know who I live with? Probably not. Perhaps you’ll never meet them. So I’m taking it upon myself to introduce you readers to my housemates and tell you a bit about them.

Let’s start with Nick.

Nick is a man who is constantly seeking God. He is a prayer warrior. He also eats 36 eggs a day, shell and all. Sometimes I think he keeps a chicken under his bed. One time I woke up in the middle of the night and heard some clucking, but it was probably my imagination. Also I took this picture last night and he didn’t notice.

Next is Paul.

Paul is a man of wisdom and is always listening for God. He has a very compassionate heart and genuine love for others. He’s very good at the video game Super Smash Bros. Sometimes I see him practicing fighting in real life just in case Bowser is real and tries to attack him someday. He definitely doesn’t have a chicken under his bed. Also this picture was taken mere hours ago and he had no idea.

Next up is Hunter.

Hunter is always open and honest and he’s not afraid to be up front about things. He has a contagious laugh and brings a great energy to any room. Legend has it that on a quiet and still night in any part of the world, if you go outside and just listen, you can hear the faint sound of his laughter. He loves Chipotle and sometimes mumbles in his sleep about what he wants in his bowl. This picture was also taken yesterday and he has no knowledge of it.

It’s time for Ronny.

Ronny has the joy of the Lord. He’s a great listener and knows who God says he is. People travel across land and sea just to see his manbun. He probably hates the movie Home Alone because he hates being home alone even if it’s just for 15 minutes. I stole this picture straight from his Facebook without permission from his agent.

The last two are Dillon and Johnfrank.

Dillon is the one on the left. Dillon loves the Lord with all his heart. He has outstanding character and he is an excellent cook. Sometimes he literally morphs into a Hibachi chef and sleeps in back of a Benihana.*

To the right is our house mentor, Johnfrank. He’s a very wise man who isn’t afraid to ask hard questions. He knows God wants the best for Him and is constantly seeking that. He’ll also talk about politics with me which is cool. One night, I woke up from a heavy slumber to him filming me. He said it was for a new World Race Films video called “Sleep” where he films people sleeping and sends the footage to World Racers on the field so that they miss their beds from home and get really homesick. He says it gets racers to be more vulnerable and helps them grow.

Also, this picture was actually taken with both the knowledge of Dillon and Johnfrank.

Anyway, these are my housemates. I’m happy to live with them this semester!

*I have no idea if it’s Hibachi chefs that work at Benihana or if they are called something else. I just thought it sounded funny.
